optical networking industry.
CubeSat Kit small satellites;
design MASSIF is in partnership with
Pumpkin, Inc. to develop small satellite systems for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) deployment, called
the CubeSat Kit. Comprised of a novel sheetmetal chassis structure with a purpose built Flight
Board utilizing ultra-low power components, the CubeSat Kit is unique in its solution for building
a 10x10x10cm satellite, weighing up to 1kg, and are in use worldwide with over 600 kits delivered.
Additional colaborations involve turn-key satellites intended for LEO and GEO in the 3U/6U/12U sizes,
including missions to orbit the moon, as well as an inter-stellar mission.
Silicon Graphics Inc. manufactures world class
computer workstations.
Stanford Center for Innovative Learning
is a new school located within Stanford University. They required some custom designed furniture
and mounting systems located in their lobby which was all designed, manufactured and installed in
less than a month.
Stanford Research Systems Inc. manufactures
high performance engineering and scientific test and measurement, signal recovery, and gas analysis
instruments.
Universal Lightspeed, Inc. was formed to develop next-generation DVD laser pickup heads.
